Amanda McDonald Crowley

Currently Associate Director, Adelaide Festival 2002. Amanda is a cultural worker, researcher, facilitator and curator working primarily in the new media/ electronic arts fields. From 1995 to 2000 she was Director of the Australian Network for Art and Technology (ANAT), an organisation with a national brief to foster links between the arts, sciences and new technology. Prior to taking up the Directorship of ANAT, Amanda worked on a National Multimedia Training Strategy being undertaken by Arts Training Australia, doing research and industry consultation to determine training and education requirements for the multimedia industry. From 1990 to 1995, Amanda was employed at the Australia Council, working in the Visual Arts Craft Board and managing central Council programs, including the international program and the Australian Artists Creative Fellowship program. From 1988 to 1990 she was administrator of Electronic Media Arts (Australia), which ran the Australian International Video Festival.
