Victoria Lynn
Victoria Lynn is a museum professional in Australian and International Contemporary Art, with emphasis on electronic media. She is currently Curatorial Manager at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne where she is responsible for the exhibition program in ACMI's Screen Gallery; for developing a curatorial and research unit at ACMI; curating major exhibitions and producing scholarly publications on the moving image. Prior to this appointment, Victoria was Curator of Contemporary Art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney, where she was responsible for major contemporary art exhibitions such as Australian Perspecta, Moet & Chandon, the Guinness Contemporary Art Project, and single artist surveys. Victoria has curated numerous exhibitions, locally and overseas and writes extensively on contemporary Australian art. She is currently Chair of the Visual Arts and Craft Board and a member of the Australia Council. From 1998 to 2000 she was Chair of the Board of Directors of the Performance Space in Sydney. She is also a current Ph.D. candidate, Department of Art History and Theory, College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales.
