| project name: artist name: artforms: science engagements: science partners: project description: The results of the residency investigation at the NSW Institute of Forensic Medicine (NSWIOFM) will be presented for the exhibition in the form of an A5 size artist's book. A draft edition of the book has already developed out of both text based and image based methods of material collection that include studies, notes, sketches, photographs, digital imaging, interviews and conversations, observations, witnessing operations and working with staff in the day to day activities of the medical laboratories. The draft book also presents work on a forensic craniofacial reconstruction case developed with NSW Institute of Forensic Medicine staff and NSW Police. This participatory role exemplifies the complexity of residency to be flexible enough to respond to actual experiences through relationships, rather than focusing simply on the production of facts or evidence. |  |
