Angharad Wynne-Jones
Originally from the UK where she worked as a theatre practitioner with the company Industrial and Domestic Theatre Contractors, having trained in dance at Dartington College of Arts, she worked as theatre producer at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. In 1989 Angharad moved to Sydney, where she formed Cake Eaters Productions, a performance company specialising in large scale site specific events.?After four years as Theatre Manager, Angharad took up the position of Director of The Performance Space in January 1994. As Director of one of the most innovative and exciting performance venues in the country, she has worked with a diverse range of artists, arts practices and audiences. In 1997 she collaborated with Gideon Obarzanek in the setting up of the new Melbourne based contemporary dance company Chunky Move, where she was Executive Producer until 2000.
